We were saddened, though motivated, to find out that restoration homes for human trafficking victims is a relatively new field and that a ‘model’ of care for this population is a developing concept. We have immersed ourselves in the research and study of complex trauma-informed care.
What may be even more important? We’ve made it a mission to learn from the leaders of successful restorative homes and joined the National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance so we can share and grow in the best interest of our residents.
